All the different kinds of matches used in the BWL Not all of them are original, but we make them uniqe with our style.
One fall matchup- Typical match. Three count, submission rule, rope break, count out, and disqualification rules apply.
Tag team matchup- Two or more teams of wrestlers duke it out. Only one person from each team in the ring at a time. Rules are flexible. Handicap matchup- One fall rules, exept there is a certain number of wrestlers against a higher number of wrestlers. ie: One wrestler against a team of two. There can also be a tag handicap match. Threatening Three Way- Three wrestlers in an all on all match. Match is not over untill one person is pinned. If a person is counted out, they are disqualified and the match continues. Standard one fall rules apply, but are flexible.
Fatal Four Corners- One fall and Triangle Tango rules apply, but The match doesn't end untill there is one person left. Standard elimination. If the last two wrestlers are both elimenated at the same time (ie: double pin, disqualification, or count out) then they are put into a hardcore or first shed match with sudden death rules. Rules are flexible.
Hardcore- A no disqualification one fall match. The match continues untill there is a winner, or a time limit can be set for numerous pinfalls (ie: thirty minuts with six people. The title goes to whoever pins the champ, and the one holding it when time is up is the winner). Rules are flexible, and can be changed so that there is no interference.
Best of the Best matchup- A match that starts with two people, but has a new wrestler run in after every pin or a certain amount of time. One fall rules apply, and the winner (last one standing) becomes the runner up for the heavyweight title. If the winner is the current champion, he/she is given the right to chose to defend it in a match of their choice with rules and stipulations of their choice against anyone they choose, at any time. They are also given the right to refuse a challenge for the title. Wrestler order is chosen at random by drawing out of a hat.(Like a Royal Rumble) Masta Rassla matchup- A tournament in which every wrestler performs in a One fall match, and the winner progresses on to face the winner of another match of the same rules. The tournament concludes when there are two people left, when they face off in a One fall matchup. The winner of the match is crowned the "Masta Rassla" and is given the same title rights and rules as the winner of the Best of the Best match.(Like King of the Ring) Dynamic Dual- A tag elimenation tournament. Same method as the Masta Rassla tournament, only with a tag team. The winners of the tournament become the runners up for the tag titles. If they are the current champions, They are granted the same belt rights as any other tournament. Brall for all- A match in which everyone fights at the same time untill there is one person left. One fall rules apply, and there are no count outs. Last one standing gets match rights(choose and create matches that they will take part in) and optional career choice for two tapings.(Can wrestle, manage, commentate, camera, or relax.)(Like a Battle Royal) Submission Skills matchup- A match in which the only way to win is to make your opponent tap out. The match can also be won if the opponent passes out during the match or a submission. Standard One fall rules, with rope break included. (Rules are flexible) Finisher matchup- A matchup in which the only way to win is to perform one of your finishers. If you choose a submission finisher, you must hold it for two whole minutes, or untill the opponent passes out or taps out before being declared the winner. The finishers cannot be performed untill the wrestlers are informed by the refferee or a chosen sound, both of which would occur after a certain amount of time. Rules are flexible. First Shed matchup- A match in which the wrestlers must lock horns untill one of them is bleeding. The rules are one fall, with no disqualification and no rope break rules. There can be any number of wrestlers, and the rules can be changed to allow any other matchup rules.(ie: one fall, tag, handicap, ect.) Circle of Pain matchup- A match in which two people go at it in a first shed matchup, only the winner must then also proceed to applying their finisher, before climbing a ladder, and retreiving an evelope from a designated hight. Although the match is then over, the winner must then take the envelope to the commish, who then opens the envelope and reads out what the winner gets, whether it be a title shot, a title, some time off, or another matchup. Sudden Death matchup- A matchup where the wrestlers beat on each other untill one of them is knocked out or passes out. There are no other ways to win, but the matchup can have hardcore rules, or just normal one fall rules. More matches will be added soon. |
